Copper Saucer Navajo Pearl Necklace 6mm 14"

A 6mm saucer-bead Navajo Pearl strand in dark copper-bronze at 14 inches — a fundamentally different shape from the round Navajo Pearl strands in the copper series. Saucer beads are disc-shaped rather than spherical: wider than they are tall, with a flat equatorial band and curved top and bottom. The effect is a stacked-ring, ridged texture along the strand with alternating light and shadow bands — more graphic and dimensional than any round strand at the same bead size. The highest price point in the copper series reflects the more complex bead construction. 

A note on color: Not a vivid orange-red copper — the darkest piece in the copper series. Reads as near charcoal-bronze in ambient light, with warm copper undertones visible in the bead edges and equatorial band where light catches. Darker than both the round 6mm strands. Muted in flat light, warm and dimensional in direct or warm light.
